On April 2, 2016, OCUN NA LLC issued a recall for the Condor HMS Triple Locking Carabiners. According to the product recall, number 26-373, the carabiner’s gate can malfunction, so the gate does not close automatically and must be closed manually. The recalled carabiners were sold in blue and dark gray. They have an independent internal wire gate for rappelling/belaying and a triple locking action gate.

The recalled carabiners were sold from February 2025 through February 2026. They were sold for prices ranging from $23 to $60. The recalled carabiners were available for purchase in-store at Vertical Escape Climbing Center and Fire Ascent Climbing and Fitness Arlington. The carabiners were also available online via outdoorprolink.com, verticallstore.com, backcountry.com, and Hownot2.com.
