Favoto Bike Helmets Recall Class Action Lawsuit<\/h1>\n

On May 7, 2026, Favoto issued a recall for their Favoto Bike Helmets. According to the recall, recall number 26-467, the recalled helmets violate the mandatory safety standards for bicycle helmets. More specifically, the helmets do not comply with positional stability requirements, labeling requirements, and certification requirements. Further, the helmets can fail to protect users in the event of a crash, which poses a serious risk of injury or death due to head injury.<\/p>\n

The recall affects approximately 2,200 units of the product.<\/p>\n

The recall specifically includes the Favoto Model H-1 bike helmets. The affected helmet body is black with red stripes. It has black padding and black straps with a silver reflective pattern in the center and a black and red buckle with a black chin strap. The helmets also have a black plastic knob for adjusting the fit. The recalled bike helmets were sold in youth size large. \u201cFAVOTO\u201d is printed on white letters on the side of the helmet.<\/p>\n

The affected products were sold online at Amazon.com from April 2022 through January 2026 for prices ranging from $20 to $27 each.<\/p>\n

According to the recall, no incidents or injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n

The company is urging consumers to stop using the recalled helmets and contact them for a full refund. Consumers are being asked to destroy the helmet by cutting the straps, write \u201cRecalled on it, and email a photo as proof.<\/p>\n
